The Kindness App

Together we nourish. The Kindness App connects people who want to give with people who need help — routing support through local businesses so the whole community benefits.

Donations are open now — you can support the mission before launch.

The problem

Families go hungry while good food goes to waste.

In the same neighborhood, food banks run short while restaurants, grocers, and households throw away food that is perfectly good. The need and the surplus are close together — they just rarely find each other in time.

What the Kindness App does

It connects the surplus to the need.

The Kindness App routes surplus food and donations to the people who need them — linking donors, local businesses, and volunteers so help flows through the community instead of going to waste. Give what you can, and it reaches someone nearby who needs it.

Who it’s for

Anyone with something to give — or someone in need.

For families facing food insecurity, and for the donors, restaurants, grocers, and volunteers who want to help directly and see exactly where their kindness goes.

The Kindness App launches September 25, 2026.

Donations are open now, and every gift helps the platform launch. If you run a charity, a business, or a community group and this sounds like something you need — reach out. We’d love to build it with people who’ll use it.
